Brought in an old SUV that had a weird clutch issue that two other mechanics could not diagnose. These guys had it figured out almost immediately, were clear and transparent with their pricing and repaired it ahead of schedule. The car drives like new. Would recommend them for any transmission work, they're clearly experts.

Zach and Kevin both are very professional and always get me right in for whatever I need. They don’t make me feel stupid and take the time to explain stuff. I often text and ask for their opinion or an oil change before vacation. Zach has fixed my AC, Oil changes, and exhaust. We are blessed to have a great mechanics in Lakeland. I send all my friends and family to his shop.

Zach and Kevin were especially good to me. My car had to go to the shop 2 to 3 different times because of overheating issues. Zach never gave up on my car even after two other shops in Lakeland claimed they couldn’t fix it. The pricing was absolutely epic compared to other shops, and the customer service, I was receiving, was above and beyond the normal from Zach and Kevin. They seemed to really care about my car and the problem that I was having that nobody could resolve but them. Thank you guys for all of your help!

As a business owner i really want to give 10 stars... Absolutely and utterly satisfied with the customer service and the overall outcome. Called multiple shops for pricing for a rebuild on my 07 2500hd with a 6l90E Was quoted between 4500 and 6000$ for a rebuild... and a 3 week lead time.. 1 year warranty Shifters Came in under 6000$ for a new 6l90E directly from Chevrolet... 3 year 100 thousand mile warranty.. Told him to order it and ill drop off the truck the next day.... Less than 2 business days later i get a call saying its all done and ready to work... When i picked it up and got out on the road i tell yall it was like a brand new truck... Shifts so smooth and regained alot of power from that 6.0 ls under the hood... These guys are absolutely nothing but the Truth.... 💯% recommend and will continue to do business with Shifters as i have 5 vehicles in my fleet at this time.... Thanks again yall...

Took my 2005 Sebring convertible thinking it needed a transmission solenoid. After Zach and Kevin changed that . They found out that was not it . They found it was the computer module and we found one at a reasonable price . Zach left the transmission solenoid on and put the computer module on for a total labor fee of $100 . I was told it would be $150 . Zach said no it has taken to long to fix this. Appreciate their honesty! Highly recommend this place !

Zach and his team are truly professionals, very honest and great prices. I dropped my truck off to have a new exhaust installed at 8 am and they were done in a couple hours. I highly recommend Shifters if you want honest prices and quality work with outstanding customer service! Customer for life.

Previous bad review was apparently deleted. 2 years ago. I brought my 1992, 1 owner Ford Bronco in to have a simple Clutch replacement done. The job they left me with was beyond unsafe. They all but left me with a drive train that was about to come apart. After nearly a month, they called to tell me the vehicle was ready. I went to test drive the vehicle and, as I sat in the driver's seat, I saw my Hood release laying in the floor, broken off and my shift boot was torn and ripped apart. My test drive was very short. I managed to make it around the block and back but the manual transmission shifted worse than when I'd brought it to them. As I walked into the shop to complain, I saw oil POURING out from underneath. The owner promised to repair the damages and fix the problems. 2 weeks later, he calls and says it's ready. Still won't shift properly. After 2 more week, now 3 months, I pick up the vehicle. there was a lot of back and forth over the actual amount owed for services,but I get the vehicle back. I get it home and discover that NONE of the bolts holding the top of the shift cover on the transmission are tight. 3 are missing entirely. I take the vehicle to a
